Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS)

In Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) Women with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) have hormonal imbalance that is responsible for irregular menstrual cycles (periods), excessive hair growth and acne. Acnechio-M Tablet is a combination medicine that helps in regulating hormonal imbalance as well as periods in females. It helps the body to utilise the hormone insulin and also regulates menstrual cycles. Take it as prescribed by the doctor. Do not skip any doses and follow your doctor?s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach pain, Loss of appetite']

Acnechio-M Tablet is a combination of six medicines: Myo-Inositol, D-Chiro Inositol, Metformin, Melatonin, L-Methyl Folate Calcium and Methylcobalamin. These medicines work by enhancing body?s response to insulin and decreasing high levels of harmful substances (free radicals, homocysteine) in the body. This effect improves hormone balance and leads to more regular ovulation and menstrual cycles (periods) in PCOS.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Acnechio-M Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Acnechio-M Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Acnechio-M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Acnechio-M Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Acnechio-M Tablet is, however, not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Regular monitoring of kidney function test is advisable while you are taking this medicine.

Liver

Caution Advised: Acnechio-M Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Acnechio-M Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. There is very limited experience on use of Acnechio-M Tablet in patients with underlying liver disease.

If a dose of Acnechio-M Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Acnechio-M Tablet is used for the treatment of polycystic ovarian syndrome and its associated symptoms. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications before taking Acnechio-M Tablet. You might experience nausea, ask your doctor to prescribe you an antiemetic (anti-sickness medicine) if it troubles you. Follow a healthy diet, lose weight if you are overweight, exercise regularly, and avoid smoking and alcohol in order to manage the symptoms of PCOS.
