Hypertension (high blood pressure)

In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This maintains balance of electrolytes (like potassium), lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Amlodipine and hydrochlorothiazide which lower blood pressure effectively. Hydrochlorothiazide is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body by increasing the amount of urine produced. Alcohol

Pregnancy

Driving

Kidney

Caution Advised: Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet 15 Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Adp H 5 mg/12.5 mg Tablet helps in the treatment of high blood pressure. It also lowers your risk of stroke and heart attack. Take it in the morning with breakfast to avoid getting up at night to urinate. It�may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. It may cause you to feel lightheaded or weak especially when you stand up (orthostatic hypotension).� Rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. It may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while you are taking this medicine.
