Psoriasis

In Psoriasis Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying CST Lotion helps manage psoriasis symptoms like itching, pain, redness, swelling or irritation. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying CST Lotion. Use it atleast 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see change in your skin appearance after few weeks.

CST Lotion is a combination of three medicines: Clobetasol, Salicylic Acid and Coal Tar which treat psoriasis. Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. Salicylic Acid and Coal Tar are keratolytic medicines which break down keratin clumps, remove dead skin cells and soften the skin.

Pregnancy

If a dose of CST Lotion is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

CST Lotion is used to treat the redness, swelling, itching, and discomfort associated with psoriasis. It may take several weeks to show its action. Keep using it as suggested by your doctor. Wash your skin with a mild cleanser and pat it dry before applying CST Lotion. Apply it as a thin layer onto a clean, dry, unbroken infected area of skin. Avoid contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with water if you accidentally get the cream in these areas. Use a mild moisturizer regularly to overcome the skin dryness during the course of treatment.
