In Pain relief Dolomec Tablet relieves pain, reduce swelling and ease inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis and ankylosing spondolytis. It also gives relief from muscle and back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat. It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. Take Dolomec Tablet as prescribed by the doctor. In Fever Dolomec Tablet is also used to reduce a high temperature (fever). It works by blocking the release of certain chemicals that cause fever. Dolomec Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor.

Ibuprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause fever, pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Methionine belongs to the class of compounds known as amino acids. It works by removing harmful breakdown products of paracetamol in the liver. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Dolomec Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Dolomec Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Caution Advised: Dolomec Tablet should be used with caution during breastfeeding. Breastfeeding should be held until the treatment of the mother is completed and the drug is eliminated from her body.

Driving

Seek medical advice from your doctor: It is not known whether Dolomec Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Dolomec Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Dolomec Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Dolomec Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Dolomec Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Dolomec Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Dolomec Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Dolomec Tablet is used to treat various painful conditions. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Drink plenty of water while taking it. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Dolomec Tablet. Do not take it with any other pain medicine without asking your doctor first. If you have asthma, symptoms such as wheeze or breathlessness might become worse by Dolomec Tablet. If this happens to you, consult your doctor immediately.
