This formulation is particularly effective for patients whose blood pressure is not adequately controlled by single-agent therapy or for those requiring additional protection against cardiovascular complications.

Metoprolol Succinate and Metoprolol Tartrate are cardio-selective Beta-1 adrenergic receptor blockers. It works by blocking the effects of adrenaline on the heart, slowing the heart rate, and reducing the force of cardiac contractions. This decreases the heart’s workload and oxygen demand, which is beneficial in managing hypertension and protecting the heart from overexertion.

Telmisartan is an Angiotensin II Receptor Blocker (ARB) that selectively inhibits the binding of angiotensin II to its type 1 receptors in blood vessels.
