In Tuberculosis (TB) Novaserine 250mg Capsule is used to treat tuberculosis, an infectious disease that mainly affects the lungs but can affect other parts of the body as well. It kills the infection causing bacteria and helps in treating the infection. Take it in the dose and duration advised by the doctor. Your symptoms may improve before the infection is completely cured. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor as doing so may cause the infection to return or worsen. Follow your doctor?s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

Avoid drinking alcohol while taking Novaserine 250mg Capsule as this may worsen the side effects. During treatment, you will need to have regular blood tests to monitor your kidney and liver function, blood cell counts and the amount of medicine in your blood. Stop taking Novaserine 250mg Capsule and inform your doctor if you experience skin rashes, headaches, tremor, fits, problems with speech or movement, depression, or other changes in mood, thoughts or behavior. Do not stop taking this medicine until your doctor tells you to.
