Triatussic 12.5 mg/2 mg/10 mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Chlorpheniramine is an antiallergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing. Dextromethorphan is a cough suppressant that relieves cough by reducing the activity of cough centre in the brain.

Triatussic 12.5 mg/2 mg/10 mg Tablet is prescribed to get relief from a dry cough. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. Consult your doctor if you do not see any improvement and have a cough for more than 7 days. Let your doctor know if you are taking any anti-depressants. Inform your doctor if you have had a cough for a long time or if you have asthma or suffer from serious asthma attacks, or if your cough is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent headache.
