How it works
Zincoren Eye/Ear Drops is a combination of four medicines: Boric Acid, Sodium Chloride, Sulphacetamide and Zinc Sulfate. Boric Acid and Zinc Sulfate are antiseptics which treat bacterial infection in the eyes and relieve irritation. Sodium Chloride works by preventing the bacteria from producing folic acid, a nutrient required for bacterial multiplication. Sulphacetamide is a purified salt solution which works by drawing out water from the swollen cornea.

Your doctor has prescribed Zincoren Eye/Ear Drops to cure your eye/ear infection and improve your symptoms. It should usually be used twice a day (in the morning and the evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest you use them up to four times a day. Wash your hands first before applying Zincoren Eye/Ear Drops. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye/ear or any other surface. Do not use the medicine for a longer time without doctor consultation. Make sure not to use the open bottle for more than 4 weeks. Use Zincoren Eye/Ear Drops twice a day (in the morning and evening). If your symptoms are particularly severe, your doctor may suggest that you use this medicine up to four times a day. To avoid contamination, do not touch the dropper tip or let it touch your eye or any other surface. If it does, squeeze out two or three drops straightaway on to some tissue and rinse the tip with saltwater.
