Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle is a combination of two medicines: Benzydamine and Chlorhexidine gluconate which treat mouth infections. Benzydamine is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Chlorhexidine gluconate is an antiseptic and disinfectant. It works by binding to the surface of teeth, inner cheeks and gums. This kills the infectious microorganisms that cause gum disease, tartar and other mouth infections.

If you forget a dose of Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.

Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle is used to reduce pain and swelling in the gums. It is meant for mouth rinse or gargle only. Spit the rinse out after use, do not swallow it. It should generally be used undiluted. If it makes your mouth sting, you can dilute it with an equal volume of water before use. Avoid getting it in your eyes. If you accidentally get it in your eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water. Do not use it for more than seven days, unless otherwise advised by your doctor. Along with using Dresin Mouthwash & Gargle maintain good oral hygiene by brushing your teeth twice daily with a soft bristle brush. The hard bristles of a firm toothbrush can damage gums. Inform your dentist immediately if you see any bleeding from the gums while brushing. Quit smoking in order for the medicine to be more effective. Also, smoking is a major risk factor for developing gum disease. Have regular dental checkups at intervals recommended by your dentist (this is normally at least once a year).
