How it Works
How Ambroxol, Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol work Ambroxol, Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol is a combination of five medicines: Ambroxol, Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol. Ambroxol and Guaifenesin work by decreasing the stickiness of mucus (phlegm), which aids in its removal from the airways. Cetirizine is an antiallergic that relieves allergy symptoms such as a runny nose, watery eyes, and sneezing. Phenylephrine is a decongestant that narrows small blood vessels, providing temporary relief from nasal congestion or stuffiness. Menthol produces a cooling sensation and alleviates minor throat irritation.
Side Effects
Common side effects of Ambroxol, Cetirizine, Phenylephrine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol include upset stomach, tiredness, sleepiness, dryness in the mouth, nausea, vomiting, and headache.
