Canagliflozin + Metformin

Uses

How Canagliflozin and Metformin Work Canagliflozin and Metformin is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Canagliflozin works by removing excess sugar from the body through urine. Metformin is also an antidiabetic medication (biguanide). It lowers glucose production in the liver, delays the absorption of sugar (glucose) from the intestines, and increases the body's sensitivity to insulin. This combination helps to control blood sugar levels in the body.

How it Works

Common side effects of Canagliflozin and Metformin include urinary tract infection, diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, flatulence, headache, vaginal yeast infection, nasopharyngitis (inflammation of the throat and nasal passages), and polyuria.
