Use with caution in patients with:

• Active Infections: Mycophenolate mofetil suppresses immune function and may worsen existing bacterial, viral, or fungal infections.
• Renal Impairment (Kidney Disease): Caution is advised, particularly in severe renal impairment. Dose adjustment and close monitoring of kidney function may be required.
• Hepatic Impairment (Liver Disease): Use cautiously in patients with liver dysfunction. Regular monitoring of liver function tests is recommended.
• Bone Marrow Suppression: Patients with pre-existing low blood cell counts are at increased risk of anaemia, leukopenia, or thrombocytopenia.
• History of Malignancy: Long-term immunosuppression may increase the risk of lymphoma and skin cancers. Careful risk-benefit assessment and monitoring are essential.
