How Paracetamol and Prochlorperazine work Paracetamol and Prochlorperazine is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Prochlorperazine, which are used to treat migraines. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever. Prochlorperazine is an antiemetic (anti-nausea) medication. It blocks the signals in the brain that trigger nausea and vomiting associated with migraines.

Side Effects

Common side effects of Paracetamol and Prochlorperazine include dryness of the mouth, constipation, weight gain, increased prolactin levels in the blood, decreased blood pressure, sedation, and urinary retention.
