In combination with other medications, it is also used for the treatment of HIV infections.
Take Telbivudine with food, as this enhances the absorption of the medication into the body.
Telbivudine may cause dizziness or sleepiness; do not drive or engage in activities requiring concentration until you understand how it affects you.
You may still develop infections or other illnesses associated with viral infection while taking this medication.
It is important to note that you can transmit HIV or HBV to others.

During treatment and for at least six months after discontinuation of this medicine, regular blood tests are necessary to monitor:
