In Treatment of Pulmonary embolism Pulmonary embolism refers to clotting of blood in your lungs. Actilyse 50mg Injection prevents this clot formation in your lungs. This helps the blood flow freely around your body thereby preventing a heart attack or stroke. It prevents the formation of blood clots and also prevents the existing ones from growing bigger in size. Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

It should be given as soon as possible (within 12 hours) after the onset of a heart attack or within 4.5 hours of onset of stroke. Let your doctor know immediately�if you develop any nosebleeds, gum bleeding, black or tarry stools, or bruising.� Do not discontinue the medicines started after this injection as it may increase your chances of having another heart attack or stroke.
