In Pain due to muscle spasm Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet is a combination of a pain reliever and a muscle relaxant. It treats pain due to muscle spasm by relaxing stiff muscles. This in turn reduces discomfort and helps in easy movement. Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet works by blocking chemicals in our brain that are responsible for pain sensation and swelling in the muscles. By reducing pain, it improves the quality of your life. Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet also helps reduce fever associated with muscular pain.

Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Paracetamol and Thiocolchicoside, which relieves pain and relax the muscles. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Thiocolchicoside is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm.

Alcohol

Pregnancy

Liver

Caution Advised: Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. However, the use of Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Acton-OR Plus+ Tablet to relieve pain due to muscle spasm. It is usually used along with rest and physical therapy. Do not take it with any other medicine containing acetaminophen (drugs for pain/fever or cough-and-cold) without asking your doctor first.
