AF Kit Tablet is a combination of two antibiotics (Azithromycin and Ornidazole) and an antifungal (Fluconazole). Azithromycin stops bacterial growth by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Ornidazole kills other microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Fluconazole works by stopping the growth of fungi in the body. Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with AF Kit Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: AF Kit Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: AF Kit Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. AF Kit Tablet may cause dizziness or seizures. This may affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Not Safe: AF Kit Tablet is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised. Caution to be advised in patients with impaired renal function.

Liver

Caution Advised: AF Kit Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of AF Kit Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of AF Kit Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Take your medication timely to maintain steady levels in your body. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Do not take antacids 2 hours before or after taking AF Kit Tablet. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if diarrhea bothers you. Avoid consuming alcohol while taking medication as it may cause increased side effects.
