It also helps in easy passage of gas.Antimef Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. How Antimef Tablet works Antimef Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid and Simethicone. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps and pain. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which. It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Simethicone is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
