It works by stopping the growth of bacteria. Cefos 750mg Injection 1s will not work for viral infections such as the common cold or flu.
Cefos 750mg Injection 1s is a broad-spectrum prescription antibiotic used to treat infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is a second-generation cephalosporin that is active against many different types of bacteria, including those that cause respiratory, skin, urinary tract, and ear infections.
This medicine works by interfering with the formation of the bacteria's cell wall, causing it to rupture and resulting in the death of the bacteria.
Because this medication is available in various formats, including oral tablets, oral suspensions, and intravenous or intramuscular injections, it provides adaptable management for both mild-to-moderate community-acquired infections and serious infections treated in a hospital.
You should not use Cefos 750mg Injection 1s if you have a known severe allergy to cefuroxime or other cephalosporin antibiotics. To ensure this medicine is safe for you, follow your doctor's dosing instructions precisely and complete the full course of therapy.
This medicine is typically prescribed under medical supervision for the following conditions:
Such as acute bronchitis, pneumonia, and secondary bacterial infections of chronic bronchitis.
Such as sinusitis, tonsillitis, pharyngitis, and otitis media (middle ear infection).
Such as uncomplicated bladder or kidney infections.
To treat uncomplicated infections of the skin and skin structures.
Used to treat early Lyme disease in adults and children.
Cefos 750mg Injection 1s may cause side effects.
Cefos 750mg Injection 1s is a bactericidal agent. It acts by binding to specific penicillin-binding proteins (PBPs) located inside the bacterial cell wall. This binding stops the final step of bacterial cell wall synthesis, leading to cell wall instability and eventual cell death.
Store tablets at room temperature away from moisture and heat. Keep the bottle tightly closed. The reconstituted oral suspension should be stored in the refrigerator and any unused portion must be thrown away after 10 days. Keep all drugs out of the reach of children and pets.

The dose of Cefos 750mg Injection 1s depends on the type and location of the infection being treated. For adults, typical doses range from 250mg to 500mg taken twice a day for 7 to 10 days. Your doctor will determine the exact dose and duration appropriate for your specific condition.
An overdose of cefuroxime can cause cerebral irritation, leading to convulsions or seizures, especially in people with kidney disease. If an overdose is suspected, seek medical advice or contact the Poison Help line right away.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not take extra medicine or use a double dose to make up for a missed one.
