Cutihyde XL Cream is used for the treatment of melasma. It is advisable to use a mild soap and lukewarm water to wash with. Always dry the area gently with a towel before applying this medicine. Along with applying Cutihyde XL Cream, use sunscreen (with minimum SPF 15), wear long-sleeved clothing, sunglasses, hat whenever you step outside in the hot sun for better protection. As you apply it, try to avoid getting it on the sensitive areas of your skin in or around your nostrils, eyes, and mouth. Do not apply it to any areas of skin that are irritated or sore. Don't cover the area being treated with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor.
