In Treatment of Parasitic infections DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP is given to treat a wide range of parasitic infections such as diarrhea, amoebic dysentery, amoebic liver abscess, and giardiasis. It works by stopping the growth of parasites and also helps in clearing parasite cysts (carrier state). It is most likely that your child?s infection will start showing improvement within 3 to 5 days of the regular dosing. Make sure to complete the full course of treatment even if your child feels better. Stopping the medicine abruptly by yourself may worsen your child?s condition or cause infection recurrence.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP is a combination of two medicines: Metronidazole and Diloxanide. Metronidazole is an antibiotic. It kills the bacteria and other microorganisms that cause infections by damaging the DNA. Diloxanide is an amoebicide. It works inside the large intestine to kill the infection-causing amoeba (parasites). Together, they treat your infection effectively.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP is recommended. However, dose modification may be required in severe kidney disease. Consult and thoroughly discuss any query with your child€™s doctor before giving this medicine to your child.

Liver

Caution Advised: DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of DYRADE M 100 MG/125 MG SYRUP may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
