Elores 1.5gm Injection is also sometimes given before certain types of surgery to prevent infections that may develop after the operation.

How it works

Elores 1.5gm Injection is a combination of three medicines: Ceftriaxone, Disodium edetate and Sulbactam. Ceftriaxone is an antibiotic. It works by preventing the formation of the bacterial protective covering which is essential for the survival of bacteria in the human body. Disodium edetate is an adjuvant while Sulbactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor. They are added to reduce resistance and enhance the activity of Ceftriaxone against bacteria.
