Etizola P 12.5 Capsule IR is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of anxiety. It alters the chemicals in the brain that cause symptoms of anxiety such as irritability, restlessness, lack of concentration, fatigue, sweating, increased heart rate, and unwanted or racing thoughts. Etizola P 12.5 Capsule IR should be taken with food, preferably at the same time each day. Take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember it. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to your doctor as it may worsen your symptoms. Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, low sexual desire, delayed ejaculation, memory impairment, tiredness, depression, confusion, and uncoordinated body movements. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Before taking it, inform your doctor if you are suffering from thyroid or kidney problems, epilepsy, Parkinson?s disease, glaucoma, or any heart problems. You should not take this medicine if you are under the influence of alcohol or any sleep-inducing, cough, and/ or allergy medication. How it works

Etizola P 12.5 Capsule IR is a combination of two medicines: Paroxetine and Etizolam which have mood-enhancing and anxiety-lowering effects. Paroxetine is selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) which increases the levels of a chemical messenger (serotonin) that improves mood. Etizolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD). It increases the action of another chemical messenger (GABA) that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain.

Etizola P 12.5 Capsule IR is used for the treatment of anxiety. It can take a week or two after starting this treatment before the effect begins to build up, and 4-6 weeks before you feel the full benefit. Do not stop taking it after a week or two, feeling it is not helping. Avoid getting up too fast from a sitting or lying position, or you may feel dizzy. Get up slowly and steady yourself to prevent a fall. Avoid taking antacids 2 hours before or after taking Etizola P 12.5 Capsule IR as they make it harder for your body to absorb the medicine. If you have diabetes, you will be asked to monitor your blood glucose level regularly as this medicine may affect the levels of sugar in your blood. Try to keep your regular appointments with your doctor. This is so your doctor can check on your progress.
