Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet helps treat diarrhea by killing the bacteria causing infections as well as prevents them from multiplying. It makes the stool less watery as well as reduces the frequency of loose motions. Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet also gives relief from cramps in the stomach and intestines. It helps to ease bloating and discomfort associated with diarrhea. This helps you to stay well and do your daily activities without any problem.

Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ciprofloxacin, tinidazole and dicyclomine which treat diarrhoea. Ciprofloxacin is an antibiotic. It kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Tinidazole is also an antibiotic which kills other infectious microorganisms in addition to bacteria by damaging their DNA. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort.

Alcohol

Unsafe: It is unsafe to consume alcohol while taking Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet , as it may lead to symptoms such as flushing, increased heart rate, nausea, thirst, chest pain, and low blood pressure, known as a Disulfiram reaction.

Pregnancy

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Kidney

Caution Advised: Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Take it with food but at the same time every day. Do not skip any dose and finish the course as suggested by the doctor. It is advisable to stay hydrated and drink plenty of water to overcome medicine side effects. Use caution while driving or doing anything that requires concentration as Gastrogyl Plus 250 mg/600 mg/10 mg Tablet can cause drowsiness and sleepiness. Inform your doctor if you experience rashes, itching, swelling and shortness of breath while taking the medicine.
