How Hepaco Tablet works Hepaco 140 Tablet is a combination of two medicines. L-Ornithine L-Aspartate is a combination of two amino acids which works by protecting the liver from harmful chemical substances (free radicals), thus preventing liver damage. Silymarin is an active principle obtained from milk thistle seed (Silybum marianum). It might protect liver cells from toxic chemicals and drugs. It also seems to have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory effects.

Your doctor may monitor your liver function and bilirubin levels every month for the next 3 months after the start of therapy, and every 6 months thereafter. You will be regularly monitored for blood creatinine and blood/urine urea levels while on treatment with Hepaco 140 Tablet. Avoid smoking and drinking as it further degrades liver functioning. Avoid fatty food, take a healthy diet, and exercise regularly.
