It relaxes the muscles and prevents sudden contractions (spasms) of muscles. This treats your pain and discomfort and reduces the risk of excessive loss of blood due to menstruation. You may also use a heating pad, take a hot water shower, avoid stress and try mild exercise for easing out the pain.

How Hiyoz-MF Tablet works Hiyoz-MF Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Hyoscine butylbromide and Mefenamic Acid which relieve abdominal pain and cramps. Hyoscine butylbromide is an anti-cholinergic which relaxes the muscles in the stomach and gut (intestine) and stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling).

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Hiyoz-MF Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Hiyoz-MF Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Hiyoz-MF Tablet is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

Hiyoz-MF Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Hiyoz-MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Hiyoz-MF Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Use of Hiyoz-MF Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.

Liver

Hiyoz-MF Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Hiyoz-MF Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
