Ibudol MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of pain due to muscle spasm. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort associated with muscle spasms. Ibudol MR Tablet should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it regularly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Using of this medicine can cause some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, stomach upset, constipation, and dryness in mouth. If any of these side effects bother you or do not go away with time, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent these side effects. The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any problems with your heart, kidneys, or liver. Ibudol MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: chlorzoxazone and tramadol which relieve pain and relax the muscles. Chlorzoxazone is a muscle relaxant. It works by acting on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve the muscle stiffness or spasm. Tramadol an opioid analgesic (pain reliever) which decreases the perception of pain by blocking the transmission of pain signals to the brain.

You have been prescribed Ibudol MR Tablet to get relief from pain and stiffness in the muscles. Along with taking Ibudol MR Tablet, your doctor might advise you to undergo physiotherapy to get relief from pain. You might experience nausea, ask your doctor to prescribe you an antiemetic (anti-sickness medicine) if it troubles you. Immediately seek medical help if you experience hallucinations, sweating, shivering, fast heart rate, muscle twitching, or loss of coordination. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, heart disease, or stroke. Liver problems may occur while you are using this medicine. Stop using this medicine and check with your doctor right away if you are having more than one of these symptoms: abdominal pain, clay-colored stools, dark urine, fever, itching, loss of appetite, tiredness, or yellow eyes or skin.
