Left DSR Capsule reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes and relieves the pain associated with heartburn and acid reflux. You should take it exactly as it is prescribed for it to be effective. Some simple lifestyle changes can help reduce the symptoms of GERD. Think about what foods trigger heartburn and try to avoid them; eat smaller, more frequent meals; try to lose weight if you are overweight and try to find ways to relax. Do not eat within 3-4 hours of going to bed. In Peptic ulcer disease Peptic ulcer disease is a condition in which painful sores or ulcers develop in the inner lining of the stomach or gut (intestine). Left DSR Capsule reduces the amount of acid your stomach makes which prevents further damage to the ulcer as it heals naturally. You may be given other medicines along with this medicine depending on what caused the ulcer. You need to keep taking the medicine as it is prescribed for it to be effective, even if the symptoms seem to disappear.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Left DSR Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Lafutidine and Domperidone, which relieves symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Lafutidine is an H2 blocker (antacid). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps in relief of acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Left DSR Capsule as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Driving

Not Safe: Left DSR Capsule may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Caution Advised: Left DSR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Left DSR Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Left DSR Capsule should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Left DSR Capsule may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Left DSR Capsule is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

If a dose of Left DSR Capsule is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Left DSR Capsule helps relieve acidity and heartburn. It is a well tolerated and safe medicine with very low incidence of side effects. It should be taken before meals as per the dose and duration prescribed by your doctor. Avoid taking soft drinks, citrus fruits like orange and lemon while taking this medicine. These can irritate the stomach and increase acid secretion. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking Left DSR Capsule as it may irritate your stomach and also cause excessive drowsiness. Inform your doctor if you get watery diarrhea, fever, or stomach pain that does not go away.
