Insomnia

In Insomnia Lexa Tablet helps treat insomnia (difficulty falling or staying asleep) in people who have problems related to their sleeping habits. Insomnia may cause you to wake up earlier than usual and you may find it difficult to go back to sleep. It works by slowing down the abnormal activity of nerves in the brain to allow sleep. It also improves the sleep-wake cycle and restores it to normal. This helps you relax, feel calm and more energetic. It also helps you concentrate better and improves your quality of life.

Driving

Not Safe: Lexa Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

However, based on the limited information available it is advised that Lexa Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Lexa Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lexa Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Lexa Tablet is generally started at a low dose in patients with mild to moderate liver disease and is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.

If a dose of Lexa Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Lexa Tablet helps promote sleep in people who have difficulty sleeping. Take the tablet before going to bed. This will help the medicine to work later in the night. Do not drink alcohol while you are taking Lexa Tablet because it will reduce its effectiveness in helping you to sleep. Apart from taking this medicine, incorporate these tips to prevent insomnia:�Try to reduce the amount of caffeine you drink, especially in the afternoon and evening.�Avoid eating heavy meals before bedtime.�Exercise early in the day, rather than in the evening.Reduce screen time before going to bed.Keep regular sleeping hours.Create a sleeping environment by switching off lights and having an ambient room temperature.If you are unable to sleep, do not lie down on the bed worrying about it. Get up and do something you find relaxing until you feel sleepy again, then go back to bed.
