Pregnancy
Lupihist Syrup is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
Information regarding the use of Lupihist Syrup during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
Driving
Lupihist Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Lupihist Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
Lupihist Syrup should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Lupihist Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Lupihist Syp 60ml is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Lupihist Syrup is prescribed to get relief from cough. Drink warm water to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. Take exactly as directed by your doctor or on the label. Do not increase the dosage or take for longer than is recommended. In general, most coughs do not last more than 2-3 weeks. If your cough does last longer than this then it's better to see your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have a history of stomach ulcers or asthma. Inform your doctor if you are taking any other medications, e.g., anti-depressants.
