Lyflox A 60mg/400mg Tablet is a prescription medicine that effectively treats respiratory tract infection. It manages the symptoms of excessive coughing by loosening the mucus (cough). It also helps in killing the infection-causing microorganisms. Lyflox A 60mg/400mg Tablet is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Lyflox A 60mg/400mg Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Ambroxol and Gatifloxacin which treat respiratory tract infection associated with excessive mucus (phlegm). Ambroxol is a mucolytic that thins and loosens mucus (phlegm), making it easier to cough out. Gatifloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria by preventing them from reproducing and repairing themselves. Addition of Ambroxol enhances the antibacterial effect of Gatifloxacin.
