To obtain the maximum benefit, follow the prescribed instructions precisely. You may also use a heating pad, take a hot water shower, avoid stress and try mild exercise for easing out the pain. Mefbrom Spas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid and Pamabrom. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms) and relieves cramps and bloating. Mefenamic Acid is a non-steroidal antiinflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain. Pamabrom is a diuretic which increases urine production to remove excess water from the body and relieve premenstrual symptoms like bloating, water-weight gain, swelling and the feeling of being full.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Mefbrom Spas Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Breast feeding

Driving

If a dose of Mefbrom Spas Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Mefbrom Spas Tablet to relieve menstrual pain (cramps) and abdominal pain and bloating. If you get diarrhea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Mefbrom Spas Tablet will cause you to urinate more than usual. This is a sign that the medicine is working. Drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water each day. Gold-colored urine is a normal side effect of this medicine and not cause for concern. Along with taking Mefbrom Spas Tablet you can use a heating pad or try gentle massage and relaxation techniques to get relief from menstrual pain.
