It helps to prevent excessive loss of blood, stops bleeding and enhances the healing process. This helps prevent complications of excessive bleeding such as hemorrhage. If heavy periods become such a problem that they interfere with your everyday life, then try taking things a little easier on those days. Some women find that relaxation techniques or yoga help them feel more relaxed and reduce stress. Getting a lot of exercise can also help.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Nexalate Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate. Tranexamic Acid is an antifibrinolytic. It works by preventing the breakdown of blood clots and controls excessive bleeding. Ethamsylate is a hemostatic. It works by increasing the ability of platelets to stick together and form blood clots. It also helps control bleeding from tiny blood vessels (capillaries).

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Nexalate Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Kidney

Caution Advised: Nexalate Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Nexalate Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Nexalate Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with liver disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Nexalate Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

If a dose of Nexalate Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Nexalate Tablet is prescribed to reduce excessive bleeding during menstruation. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). If you get diarrhea while taking this medicine, consult your doctor immediately. Along with taking Nexalate Tablet you can use a heating pad or try gentle massage and relaxation techniques to get relief during periods. Inform your doctor if there is no improvement in your bleeding after using this medicine for three consecutive periods. Inform your doctor if you have any bleeding disorders.
