In Treatment of Bacterial infections Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine and is used to treat certain bacterial infections such as meningitis (infection of the brain), pneumonia (infection of the lungs), gonorrhea (a sexually transmitted disease), pelvic inflammatory disease (infection of the female reproductive organs that may cause infertility) and infections of ear, abdomen, urinary tract, skin, bones and joints. Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet is also sometimes given before certain types of surgery to prevent infections that may develop after the operation.

Liver

If a dose of Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

You have been prescribed this combination medicine to treat bacterial infections even if they have developed resistance.� Finish the prescribed course, even if you start to feel better. Stopping it early may make the infection come back and harder to treat. Diarrhea may occur as a side effect. Taking probiotics along with Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet may help. Talk to your doctor if you notice bloody stools or develop abdominal cramps. Stop taking Orixone S 250mg/125mg Tablet and inform your doctor immediately if you develop an itchy rash, swelling of the face, throat or tongue or breathing difficulties while taking it.
