It is taken without food, preferably in the morning to avoid frequent urination at night. Regular monitoring of kidney function is required while taking this medicine. This medicine may cause dehydration, so it is better to take plenty of fluids. Inform doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness, or dry mouth. Dizziness may occur due to low blood pressure but this gets better with time.

Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding
Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet is probably safe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent any significant risk to the baby.
Driving
Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet usually does not affect alertness but dizziness or weakness due to low blood pressure may occur in some patients. This may affect your driving ability.
Kidney
Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.Caution should be advised in patients with renal impairment.
Liver
Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

You have been prescribed Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure. It also lowers your risk of stroke and heart attack. Take it in the morning with breakfast, to avoid getting up at night to urinate. Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything requiring concentration until you know how it affects you. To lower the chance of feeling dizzy or passing out, rise slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Inform you doctor about any cough, or throat irritation that doesn't go away. Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and Inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Your doctor may regularly monitor your blood pressure, kidney function and the levels of salts such as potassium in your blood while you are taking this medicine. Do not take Penosyl Plus 8mg/2.5mg Tablet if you�re pregnant or planning pregnancy. It can cause birth defects or be fatal to your unborn baby.
