How Pribax Infusion works Pribax-IV Infusion is an analgesic (pain reliever) and anti-pyretic (fever reducer). It works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and fever.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Pribax-IV Infusion as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Pribax-IV Infusion is safe to use during pregnancy. Most studies have shown low or no risk to the developing baby.

Breast feeding

Pribax-IV Infusion is safe to use during breastfeeding. Human studies suggest that the drug does not pass into the breastmilk in a significant amount and is not harmful to the baby.

Driving

Pribax-IV Infusion does not usually affect your ability to drive.

Kidney

Pribax-IV Infusion should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Pribax-IV Infusion may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, Pribax-IV Infusion contains paracetamol which is considered the safest painkiller for kidney disease patients.

Liver

Pribax-IV Infusion should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Pribax-IV Infusion may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.However, the use of Pribax-IV Infusion is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.

If a dose of Pribax-IV Infusion is missed, it's advisable to consult your doctor.

Pribax-IV Infusion helps in relieving moderate pain and fever for the short-term, especially following surgery. Inform your doctor if you are also taking other medications containing paracetamol. Inform your doctor if you suffer from liver disease, severe kidney disease, or alcohol abuse. Inform your doctor if you experience symptoms such as feeling or being sick, weight loss, pale skin (pallor), or abdominal pain within the first 24 hours as it indicates an overdose.� Your doctor may regularly monitor your kidney function, liver function and levels of blood components if you are taking this medicine for long-term treatment.
