REVANEX 200 MG TABLET is used in the treatment of peptic ulcer disease. It may also help in relieving mucosal lesion associated with gastritis. REVANEX 200 MG TABLET is taken before meals in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should take this medicine until your doctor tells you to stop. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine. The most common side effects of REVANEX 200 MG TABLET are headache, nausea, abdominal pain, constipation, and flatulence. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. This medicine may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration. However, it is better to consult a doctor if you get watery diarrhea with fever or stomach pain that does not go away. Long term use of this medicine may lead to the deficiency of vitamin B12 and magnesium. Taking adequate supplements of vitamins, calcium and magnesium can be helpful in such cases. Before taking this medicine, inform the doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease as a dose of your medicine needs to be adjusted. It is better to not take this medicine along with an antacid, you may try to take it two hours before or after taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have bleeding disorders because this medicine is contraindicated in persons with bleeding disorders.
