It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and swelling. It also treats muscle pain by relaxing stiff muscles. Altogether, it helps in easy movement and you can carry your daily activities without much problem. Apart from this, Rofact MR Tablet helps in the management of backache and toothache.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Rofact MR Tablet can be taken it with or without food, although it's advisable to take it consistently at the same time.

Rofact MR Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Rofecoxib and Tizanidine, which relieves pain and relaxes the muscles. Rofecoxib is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation (redness and swelling). Tizanidine is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centers in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm and to improve pain and movement of muscles.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Rofact MR Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Rofact MR Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Rofact MR Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Rofact MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Rofact MR Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Rofact MR Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Rofact MR Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Rofact MR Tablet is not advised in patients with severe liver disease. Liver function tests are recommended before the start of treatment and then on a regular basis as advised.

If a dose of Rofact MR Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
