Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of osteoporosis. It prevents bone loss and makes the bones stronger. This way it helps in preventing bone fractures. Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is best taken in an empty stomach. You should take it regularly at a fixed time each day. Taking it at the same time every day will help you remember to take it. It may take several days to get the full benefit of this drug. Do not stop taking the medicine until your doctor tells you it is alright to stop. This medicine may only be part of a treatment program that may also include changes to your diet and taking other medicines and vitamin supplements. The most common side effects of this medicine include headache, back pain, musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain, indigestion, diarrhea, and heartburn. These are generally mild and usually resolve on their own. If they do not go away or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Stoplos RD 3 Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Risedronate and Vitamin D3 which treat osteoporosis. Risedronate is a bisphosphonate. It works by suppressing the activity of osteoclasts, cells that cause destruction of bone. This strengthens the bone and minimizes the risk of fractures. Vitamin D3 helps protect your bones, both by increasing calcium absorption and by supporting muscles needed to avoid falls.

Along with taking Stoplos RD 3 Tablet, maintain a healthy lifestyle, take a balanced diet, exercise (regular weight-bearing exercise) with your doctor's advice, and take proper measures to reduce the risk of falls. Let your doctor know if you�re taking additional iron or calcium supplements, as the absorption rate might be affected. Inform your doctor if you have kidney problems, or if you have ever had kidney stones.
