Cefixime works by stopping the growth of bacteria and kills them. Ofloxacin prevents multiplication and repair of infection causing bacteria and prevents further spread of the infection. This combination medicine can be used to treat many different bacterial infections such as ear, sinus, throat, lung, urinary tract, skin and soft tissues. It usually makes you feel better within a few days, but you should continue taking it as prescribed even when you feel better to make sure that all bacteria are killed and do not become resistant.

How can I give Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup to my child?Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Check the label for directions before use. Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup contains two antibiotics. Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup is recommended. However, consult with your child€™s doctor before giving Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup to your child in case of a severe form of liver disease.

Liver

Caution Advised: Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Remain calm. Unless your child�s doctor has provided specific instructions, administer the missed dose once recalled. If it's nearly time for the next dose, skip the missed one. Adhere to the prescribed dosing schedule and avoid administering a double dose to compensate for the missed one.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Your child must complete the entire course of antibiotics. Stopping too soon may cause the bacteria to multiply again, become resistant, or cause another infection. Give this medicine with food to avoid an upset stomach. Encourage your child to drink plenty of water in case diarrhea develops as a side effect. Do not give any calcium, magnesium, iron, vitamin, or antacid within 2 hours of taking Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup as these can affect the absorption of the medicine. Conditions like common cold and flu are caused by viruses. Never use this medicine for such conditions. Only give Supraxime-OX Dry Syrup to your child for their current infection. Never save medicine for future illnesses. Stop this medicine and immediately report to your child�s doctor in case your child develops an itchy rash, facial swelling, or breathing difficulties while taking this medicine.
