This ensures that you live a long and healthy life. It is usually given in combination with other medicines. Avoid skipping doses and follow your doctor�s instructions carefully to get maximum benefit.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. How to use Synthivan Tablet Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Synthivan Tablet is to be taken with food.

Synthivan Tablet is an anti-HIV medication. It works by interfering with an enzyme (protease), which is required by HIV-infected cells to make new viruses. This stops the production of new viruses.

Alcohol

Caution: It is important to consult your doctor regarding alcohol consumption while taking Synthivan Tablet .

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Driving

Not Safe: Synthivan Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Safe when prescribed by an expert: Synthivan Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Synthivan Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Synthivan Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Synthivan Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Synthivan Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

If a dose of Synthivan Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Synthivan Tablet is a combination medicine which slows down or stops the progression of HIV infection in the body.� Take it with food, preferably at the same time each day. Skipping doses increases the risk of treatment failure. Make sure that you take all your doses at the correct time. It may cause weight gain and weakening of your bones. Eat healthy, exercise regularly and take calcium and vitamin D supplements as suggested by your doctor. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Don't drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. Your doctor may monitor your kidney and liver functions regularly. Inform your doctor if you develop symptoms such as abdominal pain, loss of appetite, darkened urine or yellowing of the eyes or skin. Do not stop taking Synthivan Tablet without your doctor�s advice.
