Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure thus reduces chances of future heart attack and stroke. Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet should be taken with food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Try to take it at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine until your doctor tells you not to. It contains a diuretic (water pill) and will make you urinate more so, it is best to avoid taking this medicine within four hours of going to bed. Use this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it even if you feel well. High blood pressure does not usually have symptoms and if you stop taking it your risk of heart attack or stroke may increase. The most common side effects of this medicine include ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, tiredness, and taste change. Consult your doctor If any of these bother you, or get worse, or won't go away. Drink plenty of fluids while taking medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst. Before taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions. You should have your blood pressure, kidney function, level of electrolytes, and blood sugar level checked regularly to make sure that this medicine is working properly.

In Hypertension (high blood pressure) Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body. It also eliminates excess water from the body and increases urine output. This lowers your blood pressure and reduces your risk of having a stroke, a heart attack, or kidney problems in the future. You do not usually feel any direct benefit from taking this medicine, but it works in the long term to keep you well. You should take it regularly as prescribed for this medicine to be most effective, even if you feel better.
The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Telmisartan, Cilnidipine and Chlorthalidone. Telmisartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker (ARB) and Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker (CCB). They work by widening and relaxing the blood vessels, thereby lowering blood pressure. Chlorthalidone is a diuretic which removes extra water and certain electrolytes from the body through urine. Over time it also works by relaxing blood vessels and improving blood flow.
Alcohol
Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.
Pregnancy
Seek medical advice from your doctor: Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is unsafe to use during pregnancy as there is definite evidence of risk to the developing baby. However, the doctor may rarely prescribe it in some life-threatening situations if the benefits are more than the potential risks. Doctor consultation is advised.
Breast feeding

Driving
Not Safe: Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Caution Advised: Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is not recommended in these patients.
Liver
Caution Advised: Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
If a dose of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
You have been prescribed Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet for the treatment of high blood pressure. Lowering high blood pressure helps prevent strokes and heart attacks. It may cause dizziness. Get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth. Use of Telmilib Trio 40mg/10mg/6.25mg Tablet during pregnancy or breastfeeding is unsafe.
