Torex Syrup is a combination medicine used to treat cough. It thins the mucus in the nose and windpipe, making it easier to cough out. This medicine also relieves allergic symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes, sneezing, throat irritation.Torex Syrup is taken with or without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, coordination impaired, and thickened respiratory tract secretions. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this medicine as it can make sleepiness worse.Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. In Cough : Torex Syrup gives relief from cough by loosening thick mucus and making it easier to cough it out. It also makes it easier for air to move in and out of your airways. This reduces the frequency of coughing and makes you feel better. Torex Syrup also relieves allergy symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, runny nose or throat irritation. Along with medications, drink enough lukewarm water and gargle with warm salt water to ease the symptoms.
Side effects of Torex Syrup The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Alcohol
Not Safe: Consuming alcohol with Torex Syrup may lead to excessive drowsiness.
Pregnancy
Torex Syrup is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy. Seek your doctor's advice as studies on pregnant women and animals have shown significant harmful effects to the developing baby.
Breast feeding
Information regarding the use of Torex Syrup during breastfeeding is not available. Doctor consultation is advised.
Driving
Torex Syrup may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.
Kidney
Torex Syrup is probably unsafe to use in patients with kidney disease and should be avoided. Doctor consultation is advised.
Liver
There is limited information available on the use of Torex Syrup in patients with liver disease. Doctor consultation is advised.
If a dose of Torex Syrup is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.
Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C
Torex Syrup relieves cough that is accompanied with mucus. Drink extra fluids to help loosen the congestion and lubricate your throat while you are taking this medication. It may cause dizziness and sleepiness. Do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how it affects you. If you are diabetic, monitor your blood glucose regularly while taking this medicine. Inform your doctor if you have a history of thyroid or heart disease. Stop taking Torex Syrup and inform your doctor if your cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur, or is accompanied by a fever, rash or persistent headache.
