Pregnancy

To reduce the amount of Tropind Eye Drop that reaches the breastmilk, place pressure over the corner of the eye for 1 minute or more, then remove the excess solution with an absorbent tissue.

Driving

Not Safe: Tropind Eye Drop may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive. Some people find the bright light (such as daylight) uncomfortable for a few hours after receiving Tropind Eye Drop which may affect your ability to drive.

If a dose of Tropind Eye Drop is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Tropind Eye Drop enlarges the pupil for eye examination and is commonly used in adults. It also reduces inflammation (redness and swelling) after cataract surgery. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute, immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.
