Ulcipride MPS Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux) by relieving symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, or irritation. It also promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.Ulcipride MPS Tablet is taken without food, following the dosage and duration recommended by your doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you discontinue treatment prematurely, there is a risk of symptom recurrence and worsening of your condition. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.The most common side effects are nausea, diarrhea, constipation, stomach pain, runny nose, and headache. How Ulcipride MPS Tablet works Ulcipride MPS Tablet is a combination of two medicines: Cisapride and Methylpolysiloxane. Cisapride is a prokinetic which facilitates the movement of intestines, thereby increasing the frequency of bowel movements, softening stools, and reducing abdominal pain/discomfort. Methylpolysiloxane is an antifoaming medicine which disintegrates gas bubbles and allows easy passage of gas.
