• Gently massage the gel into the painful muscle or joint until it is completely absorbed by the skin. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap immediately afterward unless your hands are the treated zone.

• Do not apply this gel to open wounds, infected skin rashes, broken skin, or surgical incisions.

• Never cover the treated skin area with tight, airtight plastic wraps, occlusive dressings, or heating pads, as this can dramatically increase absorption to dangerous, toxic levels.

If you forget to apply a scheduled dose of Zio Nano Gel, apply it as soon as you remember. However, if your next scheduled application is less than 2 hours away, skip the missed dose completely and continue with your regular application timeline. Do not apply twice the amount of gel to make up for a forgotten turn.
