How Zita-Pio Tablet works Zita-Pio Tablet is a combination of two antidiabetic medications. Teneligliptin increases the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreases the hormone (glucagon) that raises blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and post meal sugar levels. Pioglitazone works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin.
