Salitol Tablet helps to increase the secretions of body fluids, particularly saliva and this helps to improve dry mouth due to radiation therapy. Take it as prescribed by the doctor to get the most benefit.

If you forget a dose of Salitol Tablet , simply continue with your regular schedule and do not take a double dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

You have been prescribed Salitol Tablet for the treatment of dry mouth. Apart from using Salitol Tablet, sip water or sugar-free drinks or suck ice chips throughout the day to moisten your mouth, and drink water during meals to aid chewing and swallowing. You can also chew sugar-free gum or suck on sugar-free hard candies to stimulate the flow of saliva. Breathe through your nose, not your mouth, and add moisture to the air at night with a room humidifier. Limit your caffeine intake because caffeine can make your mouth drier. Completely stop smoking or chewing tobacco.
