Montelukast is used to prevent asthma, alleviate sneezing and runny nose caused by allergies, address nasal allergy symptoms, and manage exercise-induced asthma.

How Montelukast works Montelukast functions by inhibiting the action of leukotriene, a chemical messenger. This action reduces inflammation in the airways, helping to prevent asthma and alleviate allergy symptoms.
