Abdominal pain

In Abdominal pain Domspas Tablet effectively relieves sudden muscle spasms or contractions in the stomach and intestine (gut), thereby relaxing the muscles and improving movement of food. This helps to treat abdominal pain (or stomach pain) as well as cramps, bloating and discomfort. Eventually, it will help you to go about your daily activities more easily and have a better, more active, quality of life.

The majority of side effects typically do not necessitate medical intervention. and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Doctor consultation is advised if they persist or if you're worried about them. ['Dryness in mouth, Dizziness, Blurred vision, Sleepiness, Weakness, Allergic reaction, Nervousness']

Follow your doctor's guidance regarding the dose and duration of this medication. Ingest it without breaking or crushing. Do not chew, crush or break it. Domspas Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Domspas Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Dicyclomine, Paracetamol and Domperidone. Dicyclomine is an antispasmodic which works by relaxing the muscles in your stomach and gut (intestine). It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms). In doing this, it relieves cramps, pain, bloating, and discomfort. Paracetamol is an analgesic (pain reliever) and antipyretic (fever reducer). It blocks the release of certain chemical messengers in the brain that are responsible for pain and fever. Domperidone is a prokinetic which works on the region in the brain that controls vomiting. It also acts on the upper digestive tract to increase the movement of the stomach and intestines, allowing food to move more easily through the stomach.

Alcohol

Unsafe: Avoid consuming alcohol with Domspas Tablet as it is deemed unsafe.

Pregnancy

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Domspas Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy. Although there are limited studies in humans, animal studies have shown harmful effects on the developing baby. Your doctor will weigh the benefits and any potential risks before prescribing it to you. Doctor consultation is advised.

Breast feeding

Seek medical advice from your doctor: Domspas Tablet is probably unsafe to use during breastfeeding. Limited human data suggests that the drug may pass into the breastmilk and harm the baby.

Driving

Not Safe: Domspas Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Kidney

Caution Advised: Domspas Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Domspas Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised.

Liver

Caution Advised: Domspas Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Domspas Tablet may be needed. Doctor consultation is advised. Use of Domspas Tablet is not recommended in patients with moderate and severe liver disease.

If a dose of Domspas Tablet is missed, take it promptly. However, if your next dose is approaching, skip the missed dose and resume your regular schedule. Avoid doubling the dose.

Store in a cool and dry place, and keep the temperature below 30�C

Domspas Tablet is used to give relief from abdominal pain. Stick to simple meals and avoid spicy rich food in order to avoid feeling sick (nausea). Dry mouth may occur as a side effect. Frequent mouth rinses, good oral hygiene, increased water intake and sugarless candy may help. Do not take indigestion remedies (antacids) within two hours of taking Domspas Tablet. If you develop any new symptoms, or if your symptoms get worse, make an appointment to see your doctor for further advice.
